The Scarlet jacket - Bouquet

The Scarlet jacket is hand-woven from cotton. It is then hand-embroidered using an applique technique with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, then re-embroidered using the Kantha technique, a familiar practice where women reuse their old saris to sew blankets. This oversized jacket has a very graphic collar and its quilted finish gives it a contemporary feel.
Entirely woven, embroidered and hand-stitched in our workshop in India, the jacket Scarlet is made of 100% cotton.
