It is made of cotton and wild silk (also called Tussah, because the silkworm is wild and not raised in sericulture. It feeds on oak leaves unlike the classic silkworm which prefers mulberry trees) and its checkered pattern is hand woven. This piece comes in different colors: blue, green and magenta.

It took 10 hours of weaving to create just one dress.
